INTIMUS
The project aimed to create a Wikipedia-like platform dedicated to raising awareness about women's menstrual health, providing accurate, comprehensive, and accessible information to help women better understand and manage their menstrual cycles.
The site was structured to resemble Wikipedia, – aptly christened PPKpedia :) – ensuring familiarity and ease of navigation for users. It included a wide range of articles covering various topics related to menstrual health, written and reviewed by professionals to ensure accuracy. The platform also incorporated interactive features such as cycle tracking tools, Q&A sections, forums for community support, and multimedia resources to enhance learning and engagement.
The launch of the platform has significantly increased awareness and understanding of women's menstrual health. By providing a reliable and comprehensive resource, the platform empowered women to be more in tune with their menstrual cycles and make informed decisions about their health. The project has fostered a supportive community where users can share experiences and seek advice, contributing to a broader societal awareness and destigmatization of menstrual health topics.
